The writer-director of 'Barcelona' answers some questions about the Cold War-era film and how it relates to 'An Officer and Gentleman.'

The director Whit Stillman is probably best known for his trilogy of coming-of-age films from the 90s: Metropolitan, Barcelona and The Last Days of Disco. He graciously agreed to answer some questions about Barcelona, the 1994 film that I covered here.
